Setting Up Templates

Templates hold the default fields and values for an activity, with scripts and triggering rules.

All activities are created from templates.

Each template is named and associated with a specific service group and you can customize and extend the provided fields, scripts, and todo items.

  1. Display the Templates. In your service group, switch to the Templates tab. One or more templates may already be available.

  2. Customize the Templates. Optionally, click a template to customize it, instead of creating a new template from scratch.

  3. Create a New Template. Alternatively, click New Template to begin creating a new template. The New Activity Template dialog appears.

  4. Select the Template Type. Start by selecting the Type to use as the basis of your template.

  5. Add Custom Fields. Optionally, add new custom fields as needed, such as a new Slack field.
