Connect a Transposit application to Zoom

Transposit’s Zoom integration allows you to create Zoom meetings in any runbook.

Add the Zoom Integration#

In Transposit, navigate to Settings > Integrations. Click Add Integration, search for Zoom, and click Add.

Authorizing Zoom#

After Zoom has been added, click Connect for Zoom’s Team Authorization.

Then click Authorize to connect Transposit to your Zoom account.

Zoom Auth page: Transposit is requesting access to your Zoom account. Permission to view current user's meetings, view and manage current user's meetings, view current user's information, and view current user's profile information. Buttons: Authorize, Decline

Creating a Zoom Meeting within an Activity#

Now you can create Zoom meetings with the “Create a Zoom Meeting” action. First, add the action to a runbook inside of a step.

Inside of an activity like a task or incident, open a runbook in Transposit UI (like below) or in Slack containing this action. Click Create a Zoom meeting to trigger it.

Enter a topic for your meeting and click Run. Here's an example from the Transposit UI, but you can also do this from Slack:

The action will run, and output a link to the meeting that you just created in Slack and your activity's timeline.

Disconnect and Uninstall#

Disconnecting the Zoom Integration from your account#

Log into Transposit, and navigate to Settings > Integrations. Click Disconnect for Zoom’s Team Authorization.

Uninstalling the Zoom Integration#

Login into the Zoom App Marketplace with your Zoom account, navigate to Manage > Installed Apps, and click Uninstall.
