Prerequisites
- Create an AlertSite account.
Define the Webhook
In AlertSite, click Alerts in the horizontal navigation bar along the top and then choose Alert Recipients.
Click New Recipient and, in the METHOD field, select POST JSON request to web server.
Define a Webhook in Transposit and select the AlertSite template in the Prebuilt template drop-down.
Copy the Webhook URL into the RECIPIENT field in your Alert Recipient definition in AlertSite.
Click Add.
Trigger the Webhook
In your Alert definition in AlertSite, under SEND TEST NOTIFICATION, select a location, and click Send.
When you click Refetch payload in your Webhook definition in Transposit, the payload sent by AlertSite is made available, as shown below.
The prebuilt template has automatically extracted relevant AlertSite fields and mapped them to Transposit alert fields.
