Use Slack in Incidents

New to using Transposit? Learn how to get started.

As one of your team's first steps when starting to use Transposit, your administrator has set up Slack in Transposit and has made sure that a Slack field is available in the incident types that you'll be using when resolving incidents.

You are now enabled to connect a Slack channel to an incident in Transposit, as described below, and use Transposit from Slack.

  1. Create a new incident from a template that includes a Slack field.

  2. Select a Slack channel from your Slack workspace.

  3. If the specified Slack channel does not exist, you can create it.
