Dynatrace Webhook

Prerequisites

• Create a Dynatrace account.

Define the Webhook

1. In Dynatrace, select Settings in the navigation tree on the left, then Integration, and then Problem notifications.

   

2. Click Add notification and the form below appears.

   

3. Define a Webhook in Transposit and select the Dynatrace template in the Prebuilt template drop-down.

   

4. After you click Submit above, copy the Endpoint URL in Transposit from your newly created Dynatrace problem notification webhook.

   

   Paste Transposit's Endpoint URL into the Webhhok URL field in the form shown in step 2 above.

   

Trigger the Webhook

1. In Dynatrace, click Send test notification.

   

2. When you click Refetch payload in your Webhook definition in Transposit, the payload sent by Dynatrace is made available, as shown below.

   

3. The prebuilt Dynatrace template gives you a default payload in Transposit, with extracted fields automatically mapped to alert fields.

   

4. A resolution rule is also provided by the prebuilt Dynatrace template.
