Prerequisites
- Create a Grafana account.
Define the Webhook
In Grafana, click Alerts & IRM in the vertical navigation bar along the left, then Alerting, and then Contact points.
Click + Add contact point.
In the Integration drop-down, select Webhook.
Define a Webhook in Transposit and select the Grafana template in the Prebuilt template drop-down.
Copy the Webhook URL into the URL field in your Contact point definition in Grafana.
Give your Contact point a name.
Trigger the Webhook
Click Test and then click Send test notification.
When you click Refetch payload in your Webhook definition in Transposit, the payload sent by Grafana is made available, as shown below.
The prebuilt template has automatically extracted relevant Grafana fields and mapped them to Transposit alert fields.
