Atlassian Bitbucket Webhook

New to setting up Transposit? Learn how to get started.

Prerequisites

Define the Webhook

  1. In Bitbucket, within your repository, select Repository settings in the vertical navigation bar on the left, and then click Webhooks.

  2. Click Add webhook. The form below is shown.

  3. Define a Webhook in Transposit and select the Bitbucket template in the Prebuilt template drop-down.

  4. After you click Submit above, copy the Endpoint URL in Transposit from your newly created Bitbucket webhook.

    Paste Transposit's Endpoint URL into the URL field in the Bitbucket webhook form.

Trigger the Webhook

  1. Perform an action, such as a pull request, in your Bitbucket repo.

  2. When you click Refetch payload in your Webhook definition in Transposit, the payload sent by Bitbucket is made available, as shown below.

  3. The prebuilt template has automatically extracted relevant Bitbucket fields and mapped them to Transposit alert fields.
